Balram’s Mischief and the Rishi’s Anger
The story begins in a peaceful Gurukul, where young students are trained under the guidance of wise sages. One day, Balram, known for his strength and mischief, decides to pluck mangoes from the mango farm in the Gurukul. However, in his excitement, he accidentally falls on a Rishi who was in deep Sadhana (meditation). The disturbed Rishi, angered by this interruption, punishes Balram by banning him from the Gurukul.
Heartbroken and feeling guilty, Balram becomes sad. Seeing his friend in distress, Jagannath (Jagan) decides to cheer him up and takes him to the Himalayas, a land of divine energy and powerful sages.
Lost in the Himalayas and the Divine Encounter
As Balram explores the snowy Himalayan mountains, he gets lost in the vast wilderness. While searching for a way back, he encounters a mysterious figure—a giant, powerful being with a strong aura. This figure turns out to be none other than Lord Hanuman, the great devotee of Lord Ram and the protector of saints and sages.
Seeing Balram troubled, Hanuman consoles him and narrates his own story of how he became the Rakshak (protector) of the Sadhu-Sants. He explains how in ancient times, he vowed to protect sages and ascetics from any harm, ensuring their spiritual practices remained undisturbed.
Balram’s Transformation and Return to Gurukul
Inspired by Hanuman’s words, Balram realizes the importance of discipline and the role of a protector. With newfound determination, he returns to the Gurukul and takes up the responsibility of guarding the Rishi while he performs Sadhana. He stands vigilantly, ensuring that no one disturbs the meditation.
